This French artist has a unique approach: he is a street artist who makes use of pointillism as a technique. As such, he manages to depict riotous scenes with the peaceful tranquillity of impressionism. His choice of technique not only removes his subjects from their stereotypical settings, but provides him with great creative freedom, allowing us to see the world through the eyes of their creator.
Working apart from the international street art scene, KAN creates his works dot by dot with no outside help. Like artists such as Seurat or Signac, he translates his visions into large format canvases, changing the way in which we perceive them as we move closer or further away.
